1956 Strato Silver Interior
67 Florida Deluxe
For a post about set frame, shifter, hand brake, and steering column color. Note the carpet is not correct. I have the proper, original carpet from a donor car but haven't installed it yet.

1965 YOM Florida License Plate Tag
67 Florida Deluxe
The original license plate to my '65 bug. Found it on the parcel shelf behind the back seat when I got it pulled out of its long hibernation in a south GA barn. I was able to get it authenticated by the Florida DMV and it's now registered to the car again.

New Wiring Harness for my 1966 Karmann Ghia
67 Florida Deluxe
My new wiring harness, aka loom, came yesterday. Just the main harness. I called Bob Nodvik - Wiring Works - and he had exactly what I wanted already made and ready to ship out. The quality is amazing and the wires all appear to be the original color codes. I wanted spot-on to original in all details and this one fits the bill!

My '65 Brundage Bug
67 Florida Deluxe
This was Mrs. Hubert Brundage's personal car that I bought from her son, Jan, of Brumos and several other VW and Porsche dealerships. Bill Bencker, former Porsche race car driver from Brumos Racing and I had a good time chatting about cars! This was January, 2006.

European '56 Headlight - Swedish
67 Florida Deluxe
Removed the headlamp assembly and carefully cleaned the inside of the glass dome. The reflective part is VERY sensitive to abrasives, even paper towels can scratch. Washed with mild soap just using my fingers under running water and careful not to rub off the black paint at the top of the reflector, IT COMES OFF VERY EASILY. I used compressed air (can duster) to dry the water from the reflective surface.
