Bus Engine Compartment Holes
Blu67Bug
These 3 holes are original to my '71 Seven Passenger Bus, w/Type I upright motor. I was wondering what they are for, or if they should be closed/plugged.

'67 Beetle Gas Vent Line
Blu67Bug
This is the Gas Tank Vent Hose from the Filler Neck of my Beetle's Gas Tank to it's exit in a hole in the Trunk just behind the Spare Tire. Note that it loops around, and clips to the Driver's side of the Trunk area.

Engine Hatch Cover - PO's Home-made Engine Hatch
Blu67Bug
This is the Engine Hatch a PO of my Bus cut into the "luggage" area. I couple of years ago I redid the hatch, and covered it with indoor/outdoor carpeting and insulation. This makes servicing the engine much easier, and it's very quiet

PO's Engine Hatch
Blu67Bug
A PO decided to cut a hole in the back to provide access to the Type 1 engine. He covered the hole with 3/4" plywood. I added carpet padding, indoor/outdoor carpeting, pull-straps and insulation. It's a terrific addition and makes servicing the engine a snap! I'm glad I didn't have to do it myself!

Unknown VW Parts

These were included with either my '67 Beetle or '71 Bus. I don't know where they go, or what they're for. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate a PM letting me know where to use them. Thanks.
