seat bracket specs for rear-facing '85-'86 weekender
BoneStock67
The rear bench seat and rear-facing seat (behind the driver) on the '85-'86 weekender bolt into brackets that are welded to the floor. This drawing shows the dimensions of these brackets, which might be useful if you are thinking of mounting a second rear-facing seat behind the front passenger seat. Not shown in the drawing is the nut that must be attached under the hole, to receive the bolt from the seat.
Here in the US of A, you can use 3/4 in. wide, 1/8 or 1/16 thick rolled steel.

Blue dashed lines show where it looks like the replacement panel ends. Red and green arrows show places where I'm thinking of putting the corners of the section I cut out of the dented surface.

big ole' compressor coming home in the van
BoneStock67
I bought this old 80 gallon Curtis air compressor from a retiring contractor off of Craigslist, and just managed to fit it in the back of the van. Drove home 1.5 hours, no problems.

seat bracket measurements
BoneStock67
The rear bench seat and rear-facing seat (behind the driver) on the '85-'86 weekender bolt into brackets that are welded to the floor. This drawing shows the dimensions of these brackets. I needed these dimensions to fabricate four more brackets, in order to mount a second rear-facing seat behind the front passenger seat. Not shown in the drawing is the nut that must be attached under the hole, to receive the bolt from the seat.
EDIT: Metal thickness is closer to 1.5 mm, not 1.25 mm as shown in the diagram. Here in the US of A, you can use 3/4 in. wide, 1/8 or 1/16 thick rolled steel.

'67 with new Mexican windshield and wire frame seat
BoneStock67
I have since put a small couch end pillow inside the wire frame for a more comfortable seat. Seat frame needs some welding before re-covering.
