Bus wheel on a Bug
EVfun
Installing a 14 inch Bus wheel on the front of a Bug limits steering. Roughly you go from the stock 2.6 steering wheel turns lock to lock down to about 2 turns lock to lock. It will add around 10 feet to a U-turn and put the Bug up there with double cab pickup trucks for the steering radius. It won't be quite as bad in a short wheelbase beach buggy.

This is my remote mount for the condenser. It isn't needed with the 009, but when I install the 019 its condenser will block access to the distributor clamp.

Some shots showing it as received, the box opened, and then unwrapped. It is nicely finished with attention to detail. I will be happy to hang this on my VW. This is a special order, stock width and spindles, but no shock towers to fit my Berry Mini-T body.

This circuit was originally for my beach buggy, to combine brake lights and turn signals in the rear AND combine parking lights and turn signals up front. With modifications it can be used to add those functions to a car with working semaphores.

Wiper over-centers and locks up. The wiper shafts have been recently replaced with Wolfsburg West parts. It is almost as if the connecting arm is not quite long enough, allowing it to pivot over-center at the bottom of travel and then lock up when the right wiper tries to go down instead of up.

There are a few more spots of light contact that I expected. The opening can be a bit small pretty much anywhere around the perimeter. The engine has been in, closer each time. This last time it went in and I could run the bolts down with my fingers, but there was some very slight contact as I turned the crank 1 full revolution. So, the install should be for real now.

New engine on the lift. The lift will make the install easy, but the Berry body will not. I think I will lift the body up above the chassis because the alternator is coming in very close to the rear of the body and not leaving room to lift the engine enough to start the studs on the bottom engine case into the transaxle.

LED warning light circuit board
EVfun
This circuit converts 2 dash light circuits so your LED indicator lights can be grounded, seeking power to light. It will supply the needed current to start your alternator. It will also convert the oil pressure light. I use it to convert those warning lights to LED so all of my LED dash lights can be grounded and light when powered. The turn indicator light can be converted by using an different flasher.

So if you install LED dash lights on your beach buggy, or other customized VW, this makes them easy to use.
