Dual Carb High RPM Holding Tool
Jeff67sqbk
Here is what I cobbled together to hold the engine at high RPMs to balance the dual carbs. The threaded rod has a 90 degree bend to fit into the wrench opening. The wing nut allows fine adjustment.

Upper Front Tin - Blue One Installed
Jeff67sqbk
I installed the blue upper front tin. This one has the fuel line hole high enough to clear the tin, but I'll stick with the body bulkhead fitting. It's easier to remove the engine.

Upper Front Tin - Two Different Ones
Jeff67sqbk
Somehow, sometime I managed to acquire a second piece of upper front tin. I pretty sure that the blue one is what came with the '67 when I bought it in '78, as I recall painting the tin that color at one point, but the black one came to me another time. Note the difference in the left side. the fuel through hole is much higher on the blue one, and it also has a vent through the tin. Which is for what years?

Bulkhead Fuel Fitting

Bob Hoover's suggested fuel line bulkhead fitting from lamp parts soldered to a tube through the center. Prevents chafing of fuel line resulting in fuel leaks. View of the engine. The hole was already in the body.

Brake Sensor Cover

Rubber boot covering brake sensors are unavailable, so I used two sizes of shrinkwrap to protect the wiring. Preforming view. Orange and yellow tubing. Preformed to fit proper hex size and shrink remaining to workable size. Once installed yellow shrank over orange.
