Type 4 Thermostat Rod Spring Clips
Randy in Maine
These little clips hold the thermostat rod in place. About 1 3/8" x 9/16" nd are made of "spring steel". I used a flexible putty knife blade to make these. Drill a 7mm hole in the end to mount it to the fan shroud using a 6mm screw.
