Finally got the J Bars installed this week on our Thule Bar system. Did not drive on the highway yet, but they seem secure, with Bow and Stern tie downs to go with the J Bars.

Rough reference, with straight edge bar across the face of the transaxle, only a few millimeters between the support nose of the Torque Converter and the bar. If you don’t have this gap, your TC isn’t fully seated on its splines.
