Heater cable clip?
kguarnotta
Here is a pic of one of the climate control/lever/heater cables. PO used a zip tie to connect. I think I need some sort of clip - and am not sure of the correct part number.
Any help appreciated.

The blue circle is on the clip I think I need. The yellow circle is where a PO used a zip tie.

thanks.

Subaru Oil pan -
kguarnotta
New to me Syncro - and the dipstick is a bit odd with its' markings.

I'm trying to determine how much oil this pan (and engine) should hold.

It is a Subaru EJ22 2.2 motor, I believe from a '94 Legacy.

Thermostat - aftermarket vs Subaru
kguarnotta
Here is a photo comparison of an aftermarket thermostat (on the left) and an original Subaru Thermostat (on the right)

I was having heating/engine temp issues so I have replaced the aftermarket thermostat with the subaru one. This is in my '86 Syncro that has had an subaru engine installed.

Swing away tire and gas carrier
kguarnotta
I'm trying to identify the manufacturer of these carriers. They seem decently made, but I don't really have a point of comparison - they are the first that I've had.

I'd like to get some new bushings for them, and also potentially install a stop to keep the from swinging too far open.

any ideas?
