Auxiliary panel for engine tuning
vwible
I built and installed an auxiliary panel to control the engine from the back of the bus. It is useful while tuning so I don't need to run to the front of the bus to start and stop the engine. Idiot lights are trailer clearance lights. Used a basic dune buggy wiring diagram for the wiring.

Excuse the rust, but I like to shoot photos before I take things apart. This is from my '75 standard Beetle.

Handy working platform

I'm using my boat trailer as a platform to work on the chassis. Here it is after I cut the pans out. I can also flip it over to work on the bottom side.
