Just like I imagined it...
It was perfect weather for the NYC VW Traffic Jam. We met lots of friendly folks including both the VW people and the day visitors to Governors Island. A big "Thank you!" to Julio Baudet for making it happen!

The NYC Volkswagen Traffic Jam is a spectator-judged vintage Volkswagen car show and picnic on Governors Island in New York City. With views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty behind a vibrant line-up of nearly 100 Beetles, buses, dune buggies, Things, and other original VW's circa 1950's - 1970's, this car show is a one-of-a-kind event for both the casual spectator and classic VW enthusiast, the next show will be held in July 8th, 2018. Spectator get in free and their first ferry leaves at 10:00am
