Blow through Kadron turbo
Lo Cash John
I didn't take pics of it but this engine case got the full set of Bob Hoover HVX mods. This greatly improves oiling to the heads and valve train, particularly to the 1-2 side. To help get this extra oil right to the valve stems and springs, the 1.25 rocker arms and adjusting screws have been modified also. The after market solid rocker shafts already have full circle grooves to help distribute oil around the rocker arm bores.

I need to replace the front caliper - the OG ones stick. Might as well do the rotors and pads. It got a new soft line before the brakes were bled. The dash is almost all in so I decided to get some fans for that little extra touch of accessory.

Putting those damn heater cables in the cradle and snapping the clap was a big PITA!

The Baja bumper sticks out too far for a buggy. So I shortened it. Also added extra mounting points off the upper beam clamps. Turn signals will be mounted on it as well.

Extra ground connection: Vanagon dashboard
Dampcamper
I added a supplemental ground connection under the dashboard at the top of the steering column brace. Bolted in with a toothed lockwasher in the sandwich to ensure good grounding. Wires run from here to ground trees (these are also jumpered together) and blower motor and wiper motor. I butt-spliced these into existing ground wires, leaving them also connected to the ground trees so multiple opportunities exist to have a solid ground. Ground lug is yellow, upper right corner. One wire goes to "trees", lower left corner.
