I was cleaning out my car and found it under the passenger seat. Anyone want a 1971 411 manual in german?

I dont have a 71....but a German manual would be interesting to have. Are you, still parting the beast out? Ray

If it's pretty clean I would take it so I could scan it and add it to the site here:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/manuals/type4.php

I don't actually NEED it, I only want it to scan, so if someone had a '71 I could send it on after scanning.

Oh dandy!......on that same note Everett. .....I have every document ever generated for my 412....from the end of the assembly line printout, manuals, maintenance history, insurance docs, plates, the radio receipt, shipping docs from Germany, to Norway to US.......and really cool.....a 1973 book/list of the entire dealer network with fold out maps of Europe.
That last one would be worth scanning into the archive. Ray

Please send me some pics of the dealer network so I can get an idea of what that looks like

Ok...when I get back to Des Moines I will PM some to you. The fold out map has the berlin wall clearly marked on it. :D

If you can scan it for the site, even better.

I have a handful of type 4 specific items that came in the glove box I can scan for you or send to be scanned.
The dealer guide as mentioned, the original German insurance policy, the original cardboard model and spec hang tag from the sapphire stereo.....which I have and it was removed by the dealer to install the Blaupunkt Wolfsburg III AM/Shortwave that is in it.....a few other items including the original manual and stamp card as well as the all models owner's manual and the emmissions manual.

I will group them together for a sjap shot and you can tell me what interests you. Ray
