Were in the process of setting our Michigan Venue were looking at the strip in Martin, MI on US131 not sure what other events are going on but we are looking at either the first of last weekend in August for this venue, just sorta looking for some feedback, don't want to have something on the same day as another event. Looking at doing a 1/8th mile event at this venue. |

Ohio..
Norwalk --> Doesn't get much better around here.
Quaker Raceway --> Runs a really slow program.
National Trails --> A notch below Norwalk.
Kil-kare --> Nice facility
Dragway 42 --> Run down facility, but well run. Inexpencive to rent. They had an Import race in 2003, but didn't pick it up again last year. Eleven air-cooled VW's showed up to that one and it wasn't really promoted much. |

Another update. We have our date set for the Martin, MI US 131 Raceway, it is set for Sunday August the 21st, more information to follow regarding the event. This will be a 1/8th mile race, open to those who can't race on the 1/4 mile due to speed and safety issues. We are looking at Gateway in Madison, IL, any feedback would be appreciated. Also if you have not signed up yet on our website go to the racer area as we are building our database, none of the information will be shared its for us to notify those who are interested in the events. Also if you have never raced before but want to there are a few sportsman classes, and over at IRP they will give a short class prior to racing for those who are interested. www.cscdra.com |

I live in Michigan and suggested the Martin race. I can't wait for the 21st of August. I would like to suggest (if Norwalk drag strip was chosen) that it also be the other of the two 1/8th mile races be Norwalk. I probably would not be able to make it to Madison, IL. I know it is not all about me, but it would fun to go to more than one event. So if it is convenient for everyone else, that is my suggestion.
Thanks,

We are not going to forget Missouri, however this year as we stated before will be a short one and will be having our venue at Gateway in Madison, IL and then our Ohio venue will be set at Kil-Kare, we are already in the works for our 2006 season after the great response from a lot of you that want to race, next year we are looking at having at least 10 races/events one of which a great suggestion at Route 66. We are constantly updating our website and will have more information on events, the charity bug give away and other important information. |

Another update, could not get into Norwalk, Kil-Kare, National Trails, but we did get a event set at Dragway 42 for Sunday July 24th 2005, seems like a good group to work with. Next year we will have another event at Dragway 42 but we will ad at least one more Ohio event, this year we got a late start. If you have not already registered please do so, no cost to you, we are trying to build a database (which is confidential) so that we can let people know about venues and changes to our series. More info to follow. |

Ok, scratch that. Milan was moved this year to the last weeknd in July Sat. the 30th. That should help with attendance at the July 24th race. |
