Any Bungartz owners out there? I am looking for a steering box for mine and was wondering if anyone knew of anybody here in America that may have some. If I can't find one i'll prolly just modify one from an old Ford or some other tractor. Also Any picture of the steering set-up would be greatly appreciated as it came with nothing so I'm not sure what I'm missing, you prolly know how that goes.

Thanks, Nick Groth

Nobody knows anything about tractors?

Coming along a little. Here is the new parts Bungartz, came across it on ebay almost by accident then bought the entire tractor.

Here is the first one.

And I will get some more photos as progress continues. Hoping to get either this one or the one coming in a couple days running before Bugout, 33 days and counting

Cleaned it up some, took the engine apart to get it running. Hopefully by the end of this week.

Trying to find out what year and model this is from? Has part number 111 119H on it, however it was on upside down so not sure if it came stock or not.

The tractor we were told was complete came from Arkansas, paid a lot for it assuming it was going to be running and driving. Well the engine did not turn over, and the steering assembly is all messed up. The pittman arm is going to need to be remade.

Got it running last night and the hydraulics worked too! I'm sure you can't tell from the photos but seeing it and hearing it run was a beautiful sight. The oddest part was seeing what looked like a brand new fuel pump broken. Took us a little bit to figure out that it was the broken piece.

Started on the body work. Steering is complete, hopefully we can get it driving and figure out all the gearing in the next few weeks.

Still working slowly on the tractor. It is running. Have a NOS stale air muffler for it. Have to take it to a shop to get the rest of the pipes made. Since it is an industrial engine, the muffler is on the flywheel side of the engine. Heat riser tubes connect to the J tubes not the muffler. Nothing but fun!

I need some Hella 100 mm red reflectors for the back. Anyone know a source? The have a 6 mm bolt in the center to mount them.

I just want one.

This could be yours Sundial. Most Germans don't use the 4 wheeled tractors, instead they use walk behinds like Bungartz made.

Good job Nick!! now- what are you going to do with it ?? can you snow plow or cut grass with it ??

Touch Nicks Thing Mon Feb 06, 2006 8:48 am

Well the only attachment I have is a harrow and a plow. So right now all I can do is cut ruts in the ground. I'm gonna try to find an Original Tiller.

My dad is "gonna have his done for BugOut"

Mine would be done soon, but I need a set of VW Industrial Heads, 1200. I was told they were different then passenger cars. Hopefully I can get it done before June, but I don't get home to work on it too much.
