I just picked up 67 and if I make it my daily driver I was wandering if I should leave the stock trans. or try install a IRS from my 71 bay-also what about the brakes?

Well depends on what you want with it..

It drives perfectly fine the way it is.

You wanna lower it? Then IRS is one way to go, straightaxle being the other..

'67s have great running gear. Lots of folks with earlier busses upgrade *to* the '67 transaxle. Should make a fine daily driver for you.

I havent driven it yet(no engine), but if I restore it, I would want to drive it everywhere. probably pull a trailer on occassion. So the stock trans and reduction box works well and can handle plenty of future horsepower ?and what about brake upgrades ?

I have a 1600 dual port in my '67 and I can run 65-70 mph if I want to. I like my OG trans and the redux boxes. Can't answer about the brakes. The OG brakes work well...just keep 'em adjusted.
