I was searching for something else and came across this post. If someone could link me to measurements of a bus (hopefully some kind of top down shots) or just wanted to go outside and take careful measurements of their own bus, I would be happy to whip up some AutoCAD looks at them. If we really got organized, we could have floorplans and views of all different years/makes/models. They'd be easy enough to convert to a PDF file that people could use them for sketches etc. Anyways, just and idea, mostly to fill time on my summer break. Post here or send me a PM with any pictures, links or measurements if you're interested.

since this thread is from '05 i thought i'd take over.

I'm really looking for some kind of template for the interior panels. either online, cad file, nice drawing with measurements and stuff, cardboard, paper, anything... do these things exsist?

ok.. I have spoken to a place I visit that do CAD work and also offer a printing service (A0 and almost any length)

Long a go I wanted to digitise all the different VW interiors so people could simply buy a plan for the missing peice or construct a full interior...
Never happened because I did not have teh time....

I have taken the drawings from another thread for Interior panels and the guys at the CAD place (as I help them out) have agreed they will scale them up using the measurements on the plans so printed out they will create a set of accurate (to those drawings) of interior panel plans on paper that you can effectivly stick on what ever wood or such you want to make your own interior panels....

Printing large diagrams for others is part of their business, and they dispatch by what ever postal service is deemed necessary...

Once they have the drawings enlarged correctly they will give me a price for a complete set printed and posted (to the UK) their printer actually folds the drawings ready for posting, but they also do tubes (which can work out cheaper)
I do help a lot of people out and in return they will help me out, so enlarging the plans to scale etc is a favour for me, and I am just passing on what they do to others, so the money they make from printing is what they charge, I will make nothing, to pay back what they do for me for nothing..

Once everything is sorted I will update with the costs..
and will look at international postage too..

So to take this further... anyone have acurate diagrams of any Camper interiors ? I could get them to print those as well!!

Please bear in mind it is not someone at home with an A0 plotter making a few ££/$$$ on the side, they are architects with a large print room and offer printing services to help pay for the staff that do the printing...
