Looking good so far. How are the front wheelwells?

those should be off by this weekend, the passenger side rear fender has a bunch of oil on it form the breather- canister line popping off, i sprayed it with some engine brite, and to day i will clean it and pound it it also has a couple of dingers, i am also trying to get a mig welder, dont have the cash for a new one yet, trying to score a used one or a loaner until i can buy one. There is one crack/wrinkle in the lip of the fender and i want to get that fixed so i can maintain the shape of the fender.

When I took the rear fenders off the PO had ran around for some time with only 3/4 of the valve cover gaskets in place. There was about half-a-inch of oil and gunk in the fenders.

I used the purple power and that stuff all came off with NO mess and NO oil sheen runnin down the drive. This stuff really works and is way cheaper than the spray cans of foamy solvent :lol:

i was actually looking at the bottle of that stuff in my garage. I bought it but never used it, i was thinking "no way that stuff is stronger than engine brite"

lol
