Does anyone know where I can get either black or primered headlight rings.
I don't have a sandblaster so I don't know how to remove the chrome from the originals.
I'm going euro and want to paint all the trim pieces, any help will be appretiated, thanx |

Try some from CIP1
You cant paint chrome, it wont stick, even if you rough it up!!

| I don't know about Washington or California, but on the east coast, 30+ year old chrome is very paintable. |

Thanx for the replies... The carbon fiber look is pretty cool, but don't want to spend that much on rings($65).
I think I'll try the cip1 rings, thanx again. |

| With proper paint and good prep, paint on chrome will last as long as paint on bare steel (in my humble experience, which is limited to a set of door handles and other exterior knick knacks on an old Nissan I used to own). However, CIP1 is a whole lot easier. |

| A sander, some self etching primer, and paint should do the trick. :) I think Mid America also sells them in black. |
