I just found this thread, but I must say that I pop-rivet everything, so I
have no need for "Arkweld". (sometimes I do braze or solder, though). |

I just did my first order with you. It was the little springs for the linkage. It came in a box that was rather large (8"x8") and shipping was $7.00. I live in northern california. For the weight and distance I thought that was a little pricey. Maybe a smaller box next time. |

Basic shipping is $4.40 through UPS, residential adds $1.25 or so and if you insure the package its a dollar or so more. The size of the box did not add any price to the shipping. UPS rates have gone up considerately. I have had people ask me to put the springs in a envelope and just pay the stamp or two to get it there. But that takes alot of time out of my day. Let me know if there is something else your interested in and i will ship it for free. |

Thanks for the reply and breaking down the shipping fees. I guess gas prices are effecting everything. |

You took my knowledge of brakes and wheel changes from 0-9.5. You are the most helpfull person I have had the pleasure of talking to. I intend to purchase your brakes for my 62. By the way, I intend to have you get me the spacers for the rear. The axle changeout to 67 is a little unnerving when talking to parts houses. I wish I could print out our conversations and just hand it to them and say "make it happen". |

I just installed a set of your carb return springs that a customer purchased from you.I like the idea and design, but I think they should be wound from a smaller gauge wire. The pedal pressure seems excessive, which I'm sure will cause the throttle cables to break prematurely.

thanks for the feedback jpbugs. I have to llok into it, but i don't think anybody has ever mentioned that about those springs. Usually they send me a 12 pack of beer thanking me for the product and how it solves all their problems. But i will look into it thanks again! |

Humm thats funny, I have the receipt right here from your company. All I asked was a simple question. Maybe you can answer it here since you seem to answer people quick here for $29 parts. I just need a possible date of shipment, im not in any hurry, but I need to know when to expect the brakes.
