How many of you can actually play a musical instrument? I (of course) play drums. I have a 9-peice pearl world series kit. I like metal (Disturbed) and progressive rock (Dream Theater). Any body else? |

I play guitar. I like all things rock but play mainly classic (aka, Led Zeppelin) and alt./grunge (whatever that means) like Nirvana, AIC, STP, etc. I'm a lefty and finding lefty guitars is such a pain, so I built my own electric. |

Started on the violin when I was 5...switched to piano at 12 or so...then started playing bass guitar in high school, and have been playing ever since...I can play some basic chords on the guitar, but that's about it...Been in several bands that I've used the bus to haul all the gear around in.

I took piano lessons as a kid, played trumpet in high school, own several guitars, and am building an electric cello, but I'd be hard-pressed to say I can actually play anything.

I've been playing drums for 9 years. I play death metal/grindcore/crusty punk. I play a really small 3 piece pearl masters kit with few cymbals and an axis double bass pedal. The whole kit packs up quite nicely in the back of my bug. |

I use to play the accordion when I was young (yeah, an accordion!). I played all the saxes in high school (except soprano and bass saxes). No one has mentioned the recorder....I thought we all have played those (remember in 5th grade or so?). |

I play bass guitar (my instrument is an early 60's Eko Modello 995, a hollowbody "violin bass" like McCartney's Hoefner; someday I hope to "deserve" a Gretsch Broadkaster), and am also a sound engineer on Sunday mornings for the church I attend in California--I get to mix several excellent studio musicians regularly! |

Pedal steel is ace. If you have any woodworking/electronics skills, a lap steel isn't impossible to build. :)

I play a couple instruments. I have a clubdate 20" blue sparkle ludwig bass drum, 12" vistalite tom, & a beachwood blue sparkle sonor floor tom & a radio king snare. I play drums in manchester prep, rockstar101 & ambulance. It used to be my only source of income, but I've since quit the higher paying jobs. Now I deliver pizza. |
