Here's a home made tool for pulling the outer rear wheel bearing on a swing axle car.
What you do is take your dremel tool and grind out the cage that supports the balls, then remove the balls. Then you should be able to easily remove the outer race. Now you can slip the heads of the carriage bolts behind the inner race. Tighten the hose clamp, then proceed to pull the race off by tightening the two nuts against the plate. |
