Why is this forum format changing? I have seen the new format and it does not appear to be as "user friendly" as this one. Was there some announcement or post that I missed explaining this?
Anyone have any clues?

Never mind, After I made a few more explorations (which i admit I should have done beforehand) I found the answers and also found that some of the bugs of the new format have been worked out. It should be good.
