Bought my first Westy last night. on anticipation of the purchase called paul at valley wagonworks this weekend to make an appointment. wednesday was the first available, took it. anyways, i have to say that paul and his co-worker (anthony? crap, i'm bad with names...of course if he had boobs i'd remember it  ) are GREAT people that i can recommend highly. how many shops let you loiter around, look over their shoulders and ask questions as they are doing the work? they had her (him? yet to name the beast) hovering 6' in the air and went thru everything on my post-purchase inspection, showing me the goods and bads (fortunately not many bads - need CV service on front left in the near future, and new EGR valve - but it did pass smog), even went as far as adjusting where my windshield wiper spray is aimed! the little things i tell ya. showed me how to use the stove (lit on the first try!), the fridge (didn't stay lit on the first try, had to blow some air in time and time again, but now she's blowin' cold), and the sink (not working, needs a pump). anyways, two thumbs up to them for all their help, and i recommend them highly! |
