Ya, I'm with you. I don't mind a long turn around as long as that was the arrangement. My boss used to say that good customer service is simple; set a reasonable expectation for the client and meet it. If Stephane told me that this was a side gig and that turn around was three months, he'd look like a hero if he shipped it in two months. I'm only upset because he told me that it was ship in 5 days and it took two months.

I ordered a muffler last December and I was told that it would go out before Christmas. Communication was good before payment was sent. Once he had the money, I didn't hear from him until the middle of February when I threatened to go to Paypal. The previous 3 emails I sent leading up to that were ignored. When I did finally hear from him, he explained that the muffler isn't finished yet but would go out the following week. Again, no response when I followed up at that time. I sent a formal complaint with Paypal a week after that.

He finally responded, apologized for the delay and sent me tracking info.

The muffler arrived today and the packaging was a joke. My $600 investment was thrown into an oversized box with a layer of bubble to protect it during it's travels from Germany to Canada. Unacceptable in my opinion.

The product is excellent; beautiful in fact. I requested a fully polished can and pipes and he did a nice job. Customer service is horrible. I read this thread (several times) before placing the order but opted to take the risk. I'd say that, in the end, the risk paid off but it was a stressfull transaction.

great looking piece, looks like even though the packing was piss poor it got there ok, I have dealt with Steph for my okrassa cooler, he is slow, unreliable and doesnt respond well to email, but makes a good product, with that said, its still no excuse for commen courtisy in getting back to a customer with a response to question about something your buying from him. I to went the route with paypal to finally get my item in the end, and although the parts were great its no excuse for the way he handles is customers, bottom He has said that he does these parts as a side line to his main work and this is not a full time gig for him which is fine, just let the buyer know going in which he does not untill its late overdue and the buyer is pissed. Would i buy from him again?, probably but i would only order something knowing im not gonna see it for a min of three months, its how he works. his rep on here is pretty shitty, but the product is good, but still its no excuse in my opinion

After reading all the negative feedback on Steph @ Wolfsburg Specialties, I was no doubt concerned about placing an order for my oil lines and hardware to link up my Fram filter. BUT all is well, great service, spoke to Steph on the phone twice, also requested a photo to confirm what he was sending, which he did. Placed my order and paid via PayPal on 01/05/12 and received my kit here in the UK 09/05/12 - worries, no worries ;) thanks Steph

althought at first i hesitated to buy from steph, in the end the exhaust is amazing. it did take almost 3 months to recieve it but it was worth the wait. i think it would be better for every one if he just said it would take from 2 to 4 months to get not a week like said to me at first. plus it was reallywell wraped and boxed for shipping

Starting to feel the same pain and stress from other buyers now..

I had already ordered my Fram lines and was very happy with the service, even the contact was great! Parts arrived very quick.

I then decided after seeing the posts on his 4 tip exhaust to dig deep in to my pockets and purchase one, back on 28th Feb 2013.. I am still awaiting delivery..

The last contact I had from Steph was on the 3rd April 2013, email below..

Nice products when you can get them from him, but reliability is not his strong points, sucks to deal with,,,but eventually he comes through, theres no excuse for it though

Paid Stephen last year for fuel lines, a boost gauge and some Okrasa parts. After telling me my parts were ready to ship, I paid him as shown above. I have repeatedly emailed him ever since with ABSOLUTELY NO response.

I'm shocked to see emails to other people which tells me he is ignoring me and I can't believe it. Stephen, please do the right thing and send my parts or refund my money. Unbelievable.

I have filed a Paypal claim and emailed Steph since I posted. I know everyone keeps saying what a good guy he is and to hang in there but I can't help but believe that he has been receiving my emails and has chosen not to reply. However he was happy to take my money a year ago and not deliver what he had promised. Not good.

After mega worry, stress and feeling down about this transaction, with VERY little contact from Steph since full payment made in February I can now update this thread and confirm my exhaust arrived safe and sound! Although the promised fitting kit was missing, which again I contacted Steph and he made sure it was with me within the week.

I can safely say I will not be doing any long term transactions over seas again!

If paying via PayPal, the transaction needs to be disputed within 45 days, otherwise the payment is not covered. I tried contacting my bank with no luck only to be referred to PayPal and PayPal referred me to the Fraud Police!

I was fortunate to recover Steph’s mobile number from a previous sale, emails got me no where!

I hope other buyers get a good result from Steph, but for me this is my final purchase.
