I thought the only good part was to see the trophy trucks and buggies going for it. I am not really into the class 11. I also thought there was too much about those damn motorcycle riders. The class 5-1600 is good

Im with travis,I thought the movie sucked.not enough about other classes that raced,Honda must of put out the money to make that film.There are much better movies on the market with better filming.

I thought the filming was awesome. I agree that the action was not totally insane, but the film quality and perspectives were. there were points in the movie that I thought the scene must have been staged. I think the movie was pretty good for a documentary type deal. Keep in mind, this was real footage of a single race. The viewpoints were extremely varried. I think alot of you were expecting an action flick, and this movie is not that. It is more of a story/history/epic kind of thing.

For all out excitement you might prefer some of the other videos out there. I saw one in a bar once that had about 3 hours of nothing but the big boys jumping, haulin ass and crashing over every inch of the Baja. Every scene was an " oh my god did you see that....rewind rewind". There was not a word spoken through the entire flick, but it kept you on the edge of your seat.....lol

Pick up Dezert People 1 or DP2, The Riviera DVD. All great flicks.

I don't know the name of the one video I saw. It was in a bar.....in Mexico....there was Tequilla there.....Contingency was the next morning.....I'm lucky I can remember even being there....lol

Uncle Dirty, which one of the Desert people vids do you think was the best? I have only seen the first one.

Hard to pick a fav, I like them all.
I had a video like the one you said you saw, with just raw footage of car after car, no music, just wound out dezert hot rods. It showed all classes too, not just trucks. I got it from the first offroad expo.

The Robby Gordon flicks are really good, too. :D Kind of heartbreaking when they showed him tear the front end off at Glamis though...
