From my perspective, way cool. I've seen them in pictures but never in person.

I think cargo doors are badass and really set the splilts apart. but to have a sliding door.. I guess that could be sort of cool. |

I'm curious, is it a passenger bus or is it a panel? |

My friend tony recently restored and sold a 65 21 win. w/ a sliding cargo door. It was very cool, but I still prefer the hinged doors. I believe it now lives in france. |

sliding doors can look cool for somebody ... yes they are rarest ( from what I know these sliding doors were installed only last 2 years on splitties but what makes a split bus classic look are classic cargo doors
.... you can enjoy noisy sliding doors on baywindow
does anybody knows when it was changed from cargo to sliding doors exactly ? thanks |

wow always wanted to see a sliding door splittie. Guess I will have to go in the garage and look at mine AGAIN. Last 2 years? Wow, my 1964 european splittie with sliding door must have been an accident. Good luck finding the sliding arm and door seal rubber. No luck for me yet. |
