just a follow up on the 019 Screamer that Glenn rebuilt for me:

and you can just make out his signature:

swapping out an 009 for the 019 made a noticeable difference in the motor...

thanks again, Glenn!

Dave... always glad to help.

To bad the Blue Screamer is hidden under the hatch ;)

Same story on my end, got my 019 screamer back today and it looks great. Good communication, great work, fast turnaround and fair pricing. Thanks Glenn. I sure was hoping he would have shipped it to me in that empty GEX box though!

Glenn Thu Jun 28, 2007 4:59 pm

Thanks guys, it seems last week was Bosch 019 week. I did 7 of them that week alone.

The GEX box is technically not mine, buy belongs to the guy that actually bought the engine. And shipping of that box/pallet would of been more than just the distributor alone.

I received 3 distributors back from Glenn today. They look great.

I sent him my nastiest 010 and it looks mint now. I look forward to trying it out.

Thanks... couldn't send me an easy one ;).

Seriously, it wasn't that bad. I've seen some that were much worse and cleaned up nicely. But i've had a few that were not savable.

Greasy and dirty are always better than rusty.

Nastiest S. CA 010, which equals near mint in the Eastern USA.

Glenn has refinished at least 10 distributors for me over the past few years. Always perfect. Drop 'em in and go.

I received that one as a joke from a customer that was sent another one in for a rebuild.

The insides were worst than this one.
