ok so im new to bugs, but i just did a disc conversion on my 70 std (body and pan still separate) and i was wondering how i install a speedo? i looked around and couldnt find anything on this topic, so its probably an extremely obvious answer that im missing, but i know the stock speedo went into the back of the front left drum, and i dont see anywhere to install that cable. even just a link to some disc brake friendly speedos would be greatly appreciated. thanks |

Doesn't matter disc or drums the speedo connection is exactly the same.
The speedo cable feeds through the hole in the center of the left spindle and the square drive at the end of the speedo cables fits in a matching square hole in the bearing dust cap. |
