My wife and I towed it from LA to AL....man that some slow diving on the way back. I had only seen a photo before I got it and I REALLY haven't had chance to give it a thorough inspection but I gave it once over and it's gonna need a lot love and work but I'm anxious to get started. The ? is where do I start. The engine is seized!!!! and there is a substantial amount of rust under the winsheild. I guess I'm gonna learn to weld! Anyway..It's a 78 transporter.
Thanks to the lady that was tired of looking at it in her yard let me take for free. I got the title and all. I'll post some pics real soon. |

Bodywork is a PITA, but the engine will be so much fun that you may get sick from licking the grease off your fingers.
