but you know what they say about opinions...
Ill give you the sunroof as a check, but i disagree with abortion status. Homemade? arent all our beetle for the most part? And if you cound filled trim and one piece windows abortions theres a lot of Cal-Look abortions running around and is that yellow whale tailed bug in your avatar a abortion? i hope not cause i like it  But like i said to each his own. I would just hate for the owner who i know from his thread about just buying his new pride and joy to see it here and get discouraged from the whole VW scene cause someone called his baby an "Abortion" you cant compare this mild custom to most of these horrible creations that are in these pages...ok ive ranted enough...LOL :D |

Don't have any better of herbie than this. Don't ask me about the braided one on the left! That was really just too ugly to take any pictures of.

There were a few of those built. I believe they came to be known as 'wedding cars'. There's one in the Tajma Garaj in Dayton, OH. Incredible workmanship in those cars. |

Rod iron is the phonetic spelling you use if you haven't read about wrought iron! If I had $5 for every time I've made a similar mistake...
If you want to get picky, it's not a wrought iron bug either, because wrought iron hasn't be commercially produced in over 30 years! It's actually made of mild steel. :) |

I don't consider that to be an abortion. It's just a dated custom VW. I don't think that's the purpose of this thread. This is more for cars that look like a huge muffler, or VWs welded to the top of school buses, or WILD customs. Not cars with an aftermarket sunroof and welded trim holes. |

The headlights are fucking awful, but I kinda like how they extended the bumper to meet the body across the entire front of the car. |

| Narrowed beam doesn't mean retarded. For me, it meant I can go a lot lower than I could with a stock beam. A little excessive for somes but not me. Don't get me wrong, there is a point where its retarded and limits your driving experience but for some, 4 inches isn't enough but 6 is. Pluis, it offsets for drop spindles. |
