Interesting that the center doors look really well done. Or they have 10 lbs. of bondo in them.

This abomination was posted in the split forum, being offered on Craigslist as a 1949. It really belongs in this thread so I'm cross-posting some pictures.

nice to see, I've had this 'vision' for many many years..
except mine was a long body with hardtop and a Suby mid engined.
I like me some heat.

the marketing would be for sportsmen and fire/rescue with a Truggy body
possibly snow mobile wrecker services as well.

Looks like a wannabe Henry J. I think it's a Photoshop job though.

busdaddy Thu Oct 12, 2017 9:48 am

Very interesting, some more pics from different angles would be cool.

Not home made (well not deliberately), but I think it belongs here;

So, we are just going to start posting pictures of anything here now? How about a beetle with type 3 hub caps or one with a broken tail light lense?

Yeah, it's hilarious that it still drives, but there is a thread already for smashed up VW's, that's where this belongs.

EverettB Sat Oct 14, 2017 10:12 pm

Agree with the above... Let's keep this thread to purposely-built abortions only, it's not like we are running low on posts. :)

Bunglebus Sun Oct 15, 2017 1:51 am

I didn't know there was a thread for smashed VWs, maybe this is more appropriate?

The nose looks Pontiacish and the dash looks Fieroish.

I don't think it's busy enough.

Flush_Gordon337 Sun Oct 15, 2017 7:44 am

So is that a pope's nose?
It's been said many times before.
Just because you can does not always mean you should!
