That car had sweet patina period. :D But after DBD movement started I primered the car :wink: I think I'm gonna strip off the dark blue paint off of my new car to reveal its og stratto, strip the rattle can off the lid and leave the fenders and hood in the og color. Of course I will primer the exposed pieces. It'll look cool til pain and body. :wink: |

Whats up everyone? Been gone for nearly 8 months (spinal surgeory). Here 's the most recent update.
1) Bought my Berg 5 tranny.
4:12 R&P
0.82 5th gear
All the beefed up internals
Black powdercoated case
Polished hardware
Big sway-way racing axles with triple chrome axle tubes.
New berg5 shifter with NOS (early 5speed handle)
2) Perohaus clock (restored by 53oval)
OG clock
OG grill
OG stepout
3) Huls seat recliners
dated 1955
complete set (driver-passenger)
4) Franklin 3inch narrowed beam ( thanks Oval1)
Here are a couple of pics.....
Here's my rag at the new shop, next to Oval1's project 55. (His car is the sweetest 55 I have seen preresto....
Next on my plate is to install my new tranny. I found the dds manifolds for my motor, and possibly a good set of IDA's. When my tranny arrives from Cali' I'll post pics.
Finally have the hard parts collected 8) |
