"Eagle Birds"

See twin eagle birds up
In the tree
One for you and there's
One for me

When we thought we
Might be losing our minds
We saw the signs

Don't nobody wanna be lonely
Everybody oughta be loved sometime

Feel you simmer down
In the pan
Feed me dinner right out
Of your hand

All night long I
Had you on my mind
Flying high

Don't nobody wanna be lonely
Everybody oughta be loved sometime
So love me right (Woo)

You can search forever you might
Never find
A love so real that will
Heal like mine

Eagle bird I
Heard you fly on by
Late last night

Don't nobody wanna be lonely
Everybody oughta be loved
Don't nobody wanna be lonely
Everybody oughta be loved sometime
So love me right
Flying high
You and I

jee. i havent heard them in a good bit

Little black submarines
Operator please
Put me back on the line
Told my girl I'd be back
Operator please
This is wreckin' my mind
Oh can it be
The voices calling me
They get lost
And out of time
I should've seen it glow
But everybody knows
That a broken heart is blind
That a broken heart is blind
Pick you up, let you down
When I wanna go
To a place I can hide
You know me, I had plans
But they just disappeared
To the back of my mind
Oh can it be
The voices calling me
They get lost
And out of time
I should've seen it glow
But everybody knows
That a broken heart is blind
That a broken heart is blind
Treasure maps, fallen trees
Operator please
Call me back when it's time
Stolen friends and disease
Operator please
Patch me back to my mind
Oh can it be
The voices calling me
They get lost
And out of time
I should've seen it glow
But everybody knows
That a broken heart is blind
That a broken heart is blind
That a broken heart is blind

A double post!? is this even legal?

Things are coming down on me
They never seem to let it be
It seems like everything I say just starts another fight
The pressure's building up inside
I gotta let it out tonight
Shattered glass will cure my ills and make me feel alright
Gonna break it
And never stop running
Making nothing from something
Making nothing from something
Cut me for the lion's share
It's mindless but I don't care
'Cause no matter what I say
I'm in a another fight
Take more shit, I've had enough
Tonight I'm gonna rip it up
Broken windows cure my ills and make me feel alright
Gonna break it
And never stop running
Making nothing from something
Making nothing from something

In honor of the recently departed Eddie Van Halen, I'll start at the top of this list and cruise on through it. I have a 1200 mile road trip starting soon. I now know the playlist.

In honor of Eddie:

Definitely my favorite VH album. But the best track is Dirty Movies.

Your so right, best album by far. It went in a really interesting direction that no other set of music has explored by anyone. This really showed me what good musicians they are . An all VH road trip sounds like heaven right now ( can't even take a day off as of late).

Now this brings back old memories 8)

{Intro}

And if it's bad
Don't let it get you down, you can take it
And if it hurts
Don't let them see you cry, you can make it

Hold your head up, woman
Hold your head up, woman
Hold your head up, woman

{Bridge}And if they stare
Just let them burn their eyes on you moving

And if they shout
Don't let it change a thing that you're doing

I am reading Wayne Kramer's book now. What a crazy life he has lived.
