is the rocker rod in 25hp fuel pumps peaned in place? i have a 52 and on bently manual showing banging on the housing with a chisel but the rocker rod itself has races for circlips, or so it appears.
the 36 hp motors i have definately have the rod peaned in but it sits in all flush and tight whereas the 25hp fuel pump rod sticks out a mm or two. |

Hello All,
Yes, the pushrod rocker pin is "peened" in. If you want to use the "circlip style" rob the parts from a late Porsche "A" pump. The "rocker pin" is wider than just a few millimeters. And has circlip grooves.
3 "peen" marks, ja?
