360 is US spec so UN but they messed up?

UN = USA, New York

that is a strange one, maybe it wasn't a mistake , I had a strange one on a deluxe I pulled a while back, any pics of the bus , this is a hunting forum :wink:

Neat and weird but I think KD means it was a knock-down kit?
So probably from a country where it had a lot of local work done to it.

export codes are always two characters, unless they forget to load one of the characters in the stamping machine. This is just a mistake in the manufacturing process. I have one M-code plate with a mis-aligned M-code.

If you get a birth certificate on the bus, I guarantee it will be USA delivered. (unless they screw up the birth certificate, which have been proven to have a much higher error rate than M-code plates)

That plate is generally attached to part number 241 800 401_
CKD buses didn't get M-code plates as far as I know.
