Was curious if the fuel vapor hose system on an FI engine require FI rated hose or if I can use the carb rated Gates Barricade here?

| vapor hose is whatever will fit that is fuel rated. Vapor hose is under no pressure. |

| Running a higher quality hose can mean a hose that lasts longer. I just try to make a judgment call on each particular hose as I replace it. |

Sweet. This is what I was thinking, but just wanted to confirm.
Will definitely be running a quality hose. Not interested in having redos. |

And if you really want to translate what SGKent correvtly stated to a rubber type for shopping....it will be a low pressure fluoroelastomer lined hose like Viton (which is a brand). Other FE rubber types that are not DuPont brand call themselves FKM or FPM which are the same thing. The FPM is just the ISO designation.
