Yes, yes, summer is a comin'. We now turn our attention to keeping our buses cool. I call my bus (any car, actually) "my little solar oven on wheels".

I see two styles of window mounted solar vent fans on ebay motors, and wondered if anyone has any experience or opinions about these or any other brands. I think keeping heat from building up inside while parked in the sun is a great idea. I wonder how long these units last under daily usage. These fans and the exhaust surface mount atop a rollup side window.

I doubt they are large enough (not enough air movement) to make a big difference of the inside temperature of cars / vans - but maybe 5 or so degrees. |

I really do not think it would be much better than leaving the window cracked open. If another fan was mounted lower and pushed air in with that one pulling it may make a difference. I would save the coin and leave the window open a lil bit. |
