Hi guys, I’m struggling to source a fuse box for a 70 bus, I know they can’t be bought new and mine is toast. What are my options or has anyone got a spare? |

Contact Chris at BustedBus or Ken at TheBusCo and see what they want with shipping to down under.
Any fuse box that fits in there and has enough connections will work, however an original would be best. You are looking at used - no one is going to have a NOS one of those specific to 1970. If they do the price would be outrageous. A fuse box is usually not a wear item so one from 1970 will work fine - in fact probably most years would fit. They can be year specific. |

If you have a Performance shop there they probably sell fuse boxes using "Blade type" fuses for people that build hot rods, dune buggies, etc.. You might need two and do a little adapting. Have you checked junk yards or if you have a Crags list there post a wanted ad there and first of all post a wanted ad here under "Bay Window" in the classifieds. You can go to classifieds here and click on Bay Window under parts and in the "search box" put fuse box and it will save a lot of looking. |

Forget about finding a decent 1970 fuse box. Read this thread and decide how you want to go.
