Ummm... I've got a sticker in that spot, but can't remember what it says. My Westy's at home, and I'm at work. I'll take a pic tomorrow & post it. If nobody gets to it first that is.

i'll take a look at lunch. my guess is it's the build sticker that says westfalia werke or whatever it is.

Now that's service! Thanks bigdood! I wish the damn PO didn't peel my sticker off my van, that's the equivalent of the GM protecto-plate. It would have been cool to have that build info. Too bad no one makes a reproduction of that decal.

no worries, i'm packing my westy right now for a trip so it was EZ for me to snap real quick for ya. good luck finding a donor sticker, maybe you can find a donor door from a westy in the same color as yours.

The info on the decal is unique to each bus. Anyone want to see if Westfalia will replicate/re-issue them?

Mine has seen alot of sun and wash cycles, the info is mostly gone.

That would be cool, I for one definitely need one. Anyone know how to get in touch with Westfalia? Hopefully they're not like VW (i.e. don't give a flying F about those of us who work so hard to keep their old vehicles on the road...)
