I am currently restoring an 63 ghia
I want to paint the dashboard top in the color of the car.
But what about the speaker grill. I Think the grill of the venyl cover Will Be to high to place directly on the metal, No?
I have seen grills that are nicely in line but where can I purchase them?
All pictures of painted dashes are welcome!
Neve mind the green circles for ashtrey and glovebox

John Copello offers machined aluminum replacements.

I used a Copello speaker grill in my 67.
It's trimmed in wood as the shape of the 67 speaker opening is different than your 63.
Johns will fit your 63 perfectly.
