I was notified this person had a new account a while back so his current profile links to this thread but I am not aware of any current issues.

I didn't do my home work and was quick to the gun buying his stool listed. No reply and haven't received it. Sent payment Dec 1st. Filed with PayPal already after reading this thread expecting the worst.

I will email him as I see he posted an ad today and he has emailed me recently about another issue (user waiting for tracking #)

He emailed me right after you emailed him. He said he'd ship it next day Priority....This was on December 17th. Nothing yet and paypal has refunded my payment to me......

He posted more items today

All parts ever sold have either been shipped or refunded.
I will be more aware on shipping in the future.

No Shipping out of country (Canada and other parts of the World)

Bulky items prove to be super expensive as everyone knows.

Only shipping in the USA in the future. Unless full cost of shipping paid by the buyer.

Yes some feedback over the years looks crappy, we will be more on top of shipping parts out and helping restore faith in us to the vw world.

Purchased a folding table for my SO-42 camper from this seller. Paid with PayPal. Coordinated ship time with him and it was delivered as scheduled. Product was as defined.

I was talking to this seller about a 1975 Westy after he contacted me through a want ad that I placed. I was initially emailed by Alex, then talked to JC on the phone. He seemed very nice and very knowledgeable. He offered info about local shipping companies and shops. Everything seemed fine until I read this thread. I let him know that I decided to pass based on the feedback. I feel like I may have dodged a bullet on this one. Thanks to everyone that shared their experiences.

I purchased this from them yesterday http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1783529. I did ask them to delete the ad but have not done so at the time of this writing.

Yes, they do speak in broken English, so it is hard to quite understand them, but they said they are shipping my item today.

They did send me pics of the item before I paid them and, am I am willing to give them a chance to redeem themselves and have an honest sale and receipt of purchased item. Time will tell, and so will I, one way or the other of the outcome of this sale.

They also have not used the site since yesterday so I would not be concerned yet.

Well, they opted to refund my money instead of sending me my item. They also sent a nice explanation that they were having issues with paypal so opted to refund my money until it was cleared up; which it now is. I would buy from them again; I think they are making an honest effort.

I purchased a 100$ item in 2011.
I was being nice and didn't complain to PayPal based on his promises. Eventually he stopped communicating.

At the time (2011) I sent him a PayPal request for refund of the money and today (2016) he cancelled the PayPal request. The Email address associated with PayPal at the time was [email protected] using the name Joseph Riggs.

Looks like he may be getting ready to resurrect this email addy.
Keep your eyes peeled and I suggest you don't send this guy a dime.

Don't believe the lies he posts about everyone has been refunded and items shipped. It's all BS.
