Hi all, there doesn't seem to be much out there on what the best way to finish up the wheelwells and underside of fenders. It may just be a matter of preference. I have used a por15 equivalent and epoxy primered, but I am wondering what to use to topcoat. Simple black, undercoat, basecoat?
I am open to all suggestions, wanna get this done by this weekend so I can move on to the body and panels.

what about rhinoline or LineX under the fendors? I have been meaning/wanting to do this.

I have used RustOleum's Truck Bed Liner spray and if you give it a few days it dries hard but it must crack over time. Regular undercoating spray is worth putting on and stays pliable but does suffer from wear from the elements.

I am now thinking more towards using the basecoat/clear on the wheelwells, similar to what the factory used. On the inner fenders, probably use some leftover paint then some sort of black undercoat. I would think that should be enough protectant in the salt/humid/rust/crappy roads of Massachusetts.

I saw another post from him where he details how he re-does inner fenders but I can't find it again. In that post he mentions a product from Wurth. Ray is highly regarded on this site and appears to have a wealth of knowledge about many topics. Search his posts, if you cant find the one I mention you may want to PM him for a link.

We have been using Raptor Bedliner for some cars...Nice product and VERY durable. Would also suggest coating the undersides of the fenders as well. Its overkill for most of us, but I like it.
