Hi folks,
I have done a search and got a good bit of info on the subject.
I`m fitting a 1600 t/p motor into my 66 split.
I have the old style release bearing as below
and new style clutch as below
I know I have to fit the late model sleeve,below right.
But where exactly does it go,is it behind the release bearing?
Any advice appreciated.

| yes, it bolts to the tranny around the shaft over the seal. for a late model typ1 irs. you need the older pressure plate. |
