Some progress:

Bare metalled the entire front - flattened the paint on the dash and underneat - removed the glue from the carpet - removed the last wiring and roof

Painted the entire front with red-oxide etch primer

Installed - fitted - aligned both inner wings and fuel tank carriers

Tomorrow the inner nose and nose panel !

Getting some progress :)

Some extra photos !

Some new photos - installed the inner nose and nose panel

I prefered to use the inner fuel tank type inner nose and the nose panel with closed holes for the extra bumper support

All small holes in the red primered are already welded shut

Lots of other jobs already done but forgot to take new photos as I was helping a friend with his Subaru conversion in his '68 notch :)

Had to weld some pieces - reshaping the air filter etc...

Extra photos tomorrow !

What a threath - went to the garage today to take some extra photos of the work that was done on Saturday

Found the car in the paint booth

My bodyworker worked the entire Sunday to bare metal the roof (took 6 hours :) and remove the undercoating with a metal bristle and a acetylene torch - nasty job !

Bare metalled the sides - grinded out rust and removed gunk - painted some places with rust inhibitor prior to painting everything in red oxide primer

This goes fast !

Enjoy the photos !

To be honest that's the idea - hunted for over 10 years for parts since the age of 16 when I got my first fasty instead of a motorcycle

Which I bought later on :)

I should take photo of that one too - still have it - most fierce motor cycle in my city and a huge perimeter - most illegal too - has cost me 3 years without driving licence in combination with a speeding ticket with the Subaru Impreza I drove back then :)

One day I might do the T34 of a 356 - one day :)

Will she put up with parts on the kitchen table?? Or do they just have to be NOS.

I will have at least one spare room to cover up with parts :)

Currently my engine is in my bed room - NOS wrapped bumpers under the bed - NOS dash and Predro Sainz bumper bar in one of my YORI Italian designer seats ...

Once I hope to have a clean HUGE garage to do my thing

It's getting out of control :?

Thanks for the support 8)

BerT3 Well, the type three project was fun while it lasted. Might as well pass it on to someone who'll finish it now, since you're finished.

Me and my TIII are over 11 years together now - guess who will have to leave in case of an argument :)

You should have just bought the NOS fasty shell on eBay and used that. It would have been much easier and probably cheaper.
