Thanks MMMdiesel for the post. I think it is a great price on a DOKA, Any idea what engine would be in that DOKA if still stock? I have never owned one but would love to use something like that to haul Kayaks and such. |

I'd offer to go look at it for somebody, but Evansville is hell to get to from anywhere. I bet this thing doesn't last too long.

If it had grey interior I might go for it. The 1.9 and the brown take it off my "can't pass this up" list. I gotta draw the line somewhere, even when the van is in my area. It's killin' me to let it go, though! |

1985 pop top local to me in Vegas
http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/2476734398.html
Zero rust on this thing, I mean I checked every seam and window, body and paint are just about flawless except for a 1/2" gash at the antenna.
He had it for sale at 7000, leaving town I guess tomorrow night, truck and container all loaded up at his place. He's got it at 5000, and said he's take 4000 for it.
Lots of little things wrong.
cracked dash
radio gone
side ashtrays gone
weld at the flip-up rear seat is gone
worst thing I could find is the manual tranny grinds going into 3rd. Could be the syncro like his mechanic told him. Says he's had it for 1 year and it's always had that grind.
But the body on this van is perfect, trying to talk myself out of buying it for the 4000.
And the engine bay is cleaner than any van I ever had... |

Just found this one in south Florida 87 syncro. If my wife would let me I'd be converting this to a full camper. http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/2502669768.html Just asked her and she said NO. |

Could be a scam? Same syncro has been showing up in Denver, http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2512532722.html |

That would make sense with the price in all. Can't believe scammers are now using our beloved vans as a target. I guess no one is really safe anymore. I will flag the post. |

We are selling the 10' Fiamma awning that came with our Sprinter Westfalia, in order to get a new awning with a black case (to better match our van). The awning is branded 'Horizon', which was a Dometic brand installed on these Westfalias. It is really a Fiamma F1, which is the same size and extrusions as the very popular F45. The case is silver and the fabric is a combination of dark gray, light gray, and white.
The awning is about 5 years old, and is functionally and cosmetically excellent. The only flaw is paint peeling on the plastic end caps. It comes complete with the crank handle and center tension rafter. It does not include brackets, as these are vehicle specific. If you are installing this on a Vanagon Westfalia, custom brackets (better than the Fiamma version) are available from GoWesty for $60. Currently installed on the van, so I can demonstrate functionality to any interested party.

Listed my 91 Carat in the classifieds here last week and will be listing it in Craigslist this week. Had a couple people contact me asking if the 4K price was real and one said he would be out with cash the other day but haven't heard from him. I thought some of the responses were weird but reading some of the posts here about bogus ads and spammers makes me think some were questioning the validity of my ad? Who know.. Anyway, its real, and my phone number is on the ad.

First image shows "$1500" painted on windows but buy it now $2000? ;)
For anyone interested, blow up the first image. Looks like significant rust at kitchen seams and rear quarter and possibly some at window near antenna. Just sayin. :)

Found this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Volkswagen-Bus-Vana...sQ5fTrucks
Has anyone else seen this? I saw it there about 2-3 weeks ago and now it is there again with no explaination as to why it was relisted. Also the link he has there goes to a for sale site and when I searched it via Google the same site comes up twice with two different asking prices, $13,999 and $16,999.
I have a call out to the owner and awaiting a call back.
Anyone in Dallas that could look at this for me, if it turns out to be legit?
Do 85's have AC? Nothng in the listing about it and no pics that I can pick out if it does.
