wow, I always tripped out on those little reflectors they put on them.
Also I can tell that 49 must have been sitting in a barn forever with all that dust on it. 8) |

I think those little reflectors are a typical Belgian thing. I've seen them on numerous cars here.
Here are some more photos of the dusty 1949 :)

No idea, it bolts directly to the car so it shouldn't be that hard. I need to fabricate some mounts and get the taillight working. The color almost matches so I couldn't pass it up. |

It's easy to back up. The wheel swivels around. The two arms on the front are mounted to the bumper brackets - basically the trailer is an extension of the car. BUT, it is very hard to see. You cannot see it in your rear view mirror. Also, if you are in a turn lane, make sure you are on the outside one! Or your trailer will hit the car next to you as it swings out when you turn. |

Thanks Kevin, it has a litle higher comp, a reground camchaft and an Express twin carb setup and it pumps out 11 more hp than when it was delivered -55
I have the original engine also but it is more fun to drive with this one  |

Ok. I'll post pics of my splits.
The Hebster, a former 1952 split that I found cut up. The rearwindow section had been "saved" in the 80's and the rest was now rotting when I found it...
The -51... Maybe some day...?
And my latest:
A 3/4 split made from scrapmetal parts from 52-74...
(no, it isn't the rearwindow that is genuine -52 steel...)
