OK - I have been to O'Reily-Advance Auto & Auto Zone.....cannot find the correct V-belt....where do you guys get them??? |

my spare i have here is a goodyear gatorback
part number : 15361
the belt was not in stock, had to be "PDQ'd" in...they do stock others but i prefer the goodyear....but i do have one of their stock Dayco brand belts on now...not sure of the part number....jsut what their computer lists...you can also go to www.advanceautoparts.com and check it out.. |

Autozone also sells Gatorback belts in the correct length. |

15361 in dayco @ advance auto parts, I know... I work there :)
Well, at least i'm fairly sure thats the number, i'd have to go look in my trunk for sure.
PDQ is just order something from a warehouse, but has to be paid for.
Call your local advance, ask them if they have a 15361 dayco belt. If you call between about 7:30am to around noonish and they don't have it, ask them to ATI it from another store and you'll have it around 2PM that day. |

ok - i found a DUROLAST #15355 that fits OK but is wider than what came off - Continental 6/11 9.5 x 900 LA 111.903.137 B made in Germany.....I don't know where to get one of those - maybe online - but would be a pain in the ass to have to go online every time I needed one [or two]... |

all prices are for my zipcode so i assume they may be different by market....
not sure of the dayco that i have on my car now(didn't keep sleeve it came in) but i assume its the longer belt...it always rode high in the pulley and only required two shims between pulley halves even when new.... |

alternater belt. car will run cooler than generater belt. wont slip as much and slows generater speed at higher rpms. |

I just read in a related thread that 10mm is more common now and works just as well. |
