I have small logo rear glass in my dual glove box '52. Is it smaller?

I called WW and Ron is on vacation this week. But everybody else's opinion @ WW is that they are indeed smaller to make up for the chrome strip in the zwitter rubber. I would have never guessed. I believe I am now in the 'yes' crowd. Right on, Derrick.

ahhh.....yes the glass is smaller... not the body... that makes sense why the rubber was too long... I actually finally got both pieces in without trimming... and I can see how the shorter or thicker rubber would make a difference.

who wouldv'e thunk...

that should make this zwitter rear glass a bit harder to find huh....

It would infact be feasible that you can fit a smaller glass into a car EASIER than you can fit a larger glass... Makes sence to me!

My split has some sort of re-pop rear glass from years ago but I orderd WW seals and they worked/ look great!

not the case at all man... see the seals end up being "baggy" or too long so they want to come off the glass before you even put it in....
if the glass was small and the seals fit it would be easier.

Well, I would cut the seals and take a small slice out... Like putting a 58-64 windsheild rubber in an earlier car... Then silicone up the slice. Unless you dont like to roll ghetto

Silicone takes too long to dry. Crazy Glue works great on rubber.

I think Yustrn mentioned the glass was different a long time ago when his glass broke but I have another question,
I wonder if a STANDARD zwitter would have earlier split back glass since there is no chrome moulding on a standard.
