Not sure if I am installing a bugpack 3515 ignition switch correctly in my dune buggy. using a 1962 wire loom :
on the back of the (universal) switch is the following
-st.......which I am going to run to the starter #50

-bat......which I am connecting to the fuse box which will end up to the alternator.then to the battery.(heavy WEIGHT fuse)

-acc.....I am not useing...............

ign....which I am connecting to the fuse box which will end up at the coil.
all decisions made based on what I feel is the correct logic looking at how the 1962 switch is running.....Am I correct/?

...........................................................................
standard 1962
#30----runs to the fuse box (heavy WEIGHT fuse)
#50----starter #50
#15/54-----runs to the fuse box to coil...

Need Some advice....Thank You.....Matt

Matt
The only thing that I would do different is to feed your fuse block from the acc Post of the switch. The ing. should go to your points only.

Good luck, Walt

volksrod:
thank you for your input..what do you mean to the points only....do you mean direct to the coil?

Yes that's what I should have said. I just had a senior moment!
