there is a guy local here in Wa with a "amazona" it has a 2276 i'm pretty sure, and dual 45 dells. he said it is very fun to ride.

I believe the BMW/Russian one mentioned earlier would be the DNEPR.

I've had a /2 VW conversion in the back of my garage for about 15 + yrs. I got it out of an estate sale back then. Would like to find out more info on where it came from, and particularly what/how the carbs and intake should be. Maybe get it running again.

Looks like this discussion has been ongoing for quite awhile.

this is my motorbike i built from scrap in Uganda.
I should be improving it when i get back as i now have a proper rear tyre from a Triumph rocket 3.

Haha! thats the second time i built it. it took two weeks and I only used scrap from my dads factory.
the first time i built it it looked better but it was far too low and i used to grind out everywhere showering the road with sparks!!
living in uganda has its benefits as there are hardly any rules that stick!
